The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Revisited ReviewMarch 8, 2021
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro is one of the best-selling Android devices in 2019 for the mid-range category. It comes with a few noteworthy features that made this a great alternative for mobile photography enthusiasts. Some of the key features that made this device stand out are as follows:
- 6.53 inches, IPS LCD Display with Gorilla Glass 5
- Mediatek Helio G90T which is geared towards gaming and performance
- A Quad Camera Configuration with a 64 MP Primary lens
- A 20 MP Front Facing Camera
- A 4500 mAh, with support for 18w fast charging
And because this device, in particular, is a fan favorite, it came in a wide variety of color options to suit everyone’s taste and needs in being unique which are Black, Red, Blue, White, Deep Sea Blue, Midnight Blue, Electric Blue, Twilight Orange.
The device even has its own community of mobile photography enthusiasts that showcase their work or skill or just for the sheer fun of taking photos using the said device which is often seen with the hashtag #ShotOnMi.
For a quick run-through, here’s the video I created. Do note, however, the reviewed device is a CN model which originally comes with a China-based ROM, but has already been tweaked to cater to a more global reach.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro is still available in the market should you consider it as your next daily driver, however, do keep in mind that most Android devices only receive major software updates of up to 2 years, which means come 2021, would probably be the last year this device gets any.
